My dream job nowadays is quite different than what I had mind when I was a child, obviously.
When I was a child I wanted to become a dolphin trainer.My best friend and I wanted to live in a big house with a huge pool and in the pool there would be several dolphins and we would train them in our home. I also wanted to become a marine biologist when I grew up.
My dream job now has one big thing in common with my childhood dreams: Ocean. My biggest dream is to live in America and have a nice, well-paid job there.
I want to live in some warm state because I love the sun very much, so California or Florida sounds like a very good choice for me. I want to spend my days outside, not in an office, so this job is like a dream for me: Lifeguard. This job is everything I need: Sun, beach, ocean, working outside and the most important thing: My work would be meaningful.
Lifeguards save many people lives everyday and lifeguards are respected and it’s a very cool job in every way. And of course my colleagues would be so good-looking!
To become a lifeguard you have to take a several curses to learn first aid and lifeguarding. And when you have taken all the curses and past them you are a lifeguard. Every lifeguard must go to certify their first aid and lifeguarding skills at least every 2 years. If these qualifications have expired then the individual is no longer allowed to guard. Trained life guards can earn anywhere from $9 to $15 per hour, pending on their qualifications, experience, and on the employer.
The less you get paid, the easier the job is. For example you get more pay from lifeguarding in the beach than lifeguarding in some local pool.
